# DataFrame.std

danfo.DataFrame.**std**(options)

| Parameters | Type   | Description                                                                         | Default     |
| ---------- | ------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------- |
| options    | Object | **axis:** 0 or 1. If 0, compute the mean column-wise, if 1, row-wise. Defaults to 1 | { axis: 1 } |
